Through the corrosion and interference of another world, phantoms, and sentient entities, audio frequencies cannot be properly processed, and instead, we receive whatever sound comes out of the other side of the realm. In telling the story of four ill-fated teenagers coming into contact with such unknown horror, these audio tracks were recovered from within the darkness of "the other domain", which can only be accessed through the depths of inter-dimensional travel. It feels an awful lot like floating through water.
Within this other realm is an entity who calls himself "Sage". He was human like you or me, once upon a time, but he's not anymore, not since he reached the other side. He's been known to wear a mask and a hood, similar to the attire he wore on Halloween just a few days before he went missing as his human self. From the collection of frequencies we have gathered from this place, the message we've interpreted is that he is searching for someone he considers to be a "Dark Horse", an unlikely competitor who will be successful in the end. What he intends to do with this "Dark Horse" and its supposed competition is unknown.
